Supply APY

The amount earned on supplied assets is based on the borrow demand.

Borrowers pay interest which is shared with suppliers. The amount of interest generated corresponds to the utilization rate times average borrow rate time. Meaning that how higher the utilization is the higher the yield is for suppliers.

Since Replete operates natively cross-chain, users that supply have exposure to markets on connected blockchains. On the dApp an estimation is made for users how much Annual Percentage Yield (APY) is made from the last thirty days.

Repletes interest rates are dynamic, it is a function of supply and demand and thus variable.

Additional rewards

Apart from the APY on assets supplied, some markets or actions within the protocol may receive additional rewards. This is on top the standard supply interest rate paid by borrowers. Rewards can be given by ecosystem incentivization, bridging to a network, incentives from partnering protocols or in Replete's governance token.

Example of interest rate flows from supplied and borrowed assets.
